Film Critique

The cat in the hat: It covers a famous book and made it into a comedy movie. The main purpose is to make people laugh and for entertainment. Themes of the film are  comedy and teaching kids not to play with a talking cat that walks inside their house. The film was ok to my opinion. I got annoyed of the cat . The acting was decent though, the actors fit the characters well. Theres not a whole lot of plot to it. Its just a cat and 2 kids having fun and trying to clean up the house before the mom gets home. A young person might be interested in it but a really young person could possibly be creeped out by the cat.

There goes the Neighborhood

I really don't have a story to tell that inspired me to make this, but it does remind me of the movie that came out a while ago "Monster House" where its haunted house thats alive. I guess that could be my inspiration.

Black and White Logo

I made my logo black and white by using the magic wand tool to select areas and change the color with the brush tool.

I put color in my logo to make it stand out. I learned that from the article. You can use other peoples logos legally by changing something up a little bit or getting permission from that company or person.

Saving a selection is important in this project because it makes the whole project. You can use this with other projects by saving selections and going back and using them later. And if your selection ever got deleted you could have it. I used the brush tool differently by making a magic wand selection first. The article helped me put a pause which is where the snail comes in.

I added eddie in a rocket ship on the moon.

The magic wand tool I used in this project would have made my movie poster project a lot easier same with the collage project. Blending could have helped my poster look better too.

I have the same poster but just with a character not from the movie in it. Well I'm not sure if he's in the movie or not because it hasn't came out yet. This is a senior design project.

Movie Poster

I layed my poster out the way I did because I wanted Thor to have lightning striking down on his hammer. That is also what I wanted people to notice first because it is basically the center of my poster. My sketches we are little to hard to make for me but I still kept the idea of the lighting and Jane Foster next to Thor.

Color Theory Collage Self Portrait

My portrait is based off of the color blue. I love the water and being in it. I like to fish surf and go diving a exploring the ocean. I love baseball, its my favorite sport.

My Design is a bird. The "m" is the birds wings. The "R" is the birds body. The round part of the R is the head and the line parts of the R are the legs. I found this design by expanding the birds wings and placing the R over it. It took me a little while to find this my initials didn't give me many options.
